Isaac and I went to the Garden of Eden via the famous Road to Hana, which is the ONLY way to get anywhere on the southeast side of Maui. Here are some of the more unusual flora along with pictures of the road which is in a Tropical Rainforest. Disclaimer: The shaggy tree photo was taken at on the northwest side of Maui. Notice the chickens and roasters that freely room the island.

One of the interesting things I learned is that the Rainbow Eucalyptus trees were brought in from Australia and some other places nearby, as were the 40 varieties of bamboo.  The Eucalyptus trees are vary colorful. As the bark peels the tree changes colors. Underneath a red piece of bark can be a yellow piece.  I've included three of the more colorful tree trunks that we saw.  They can also be more in the browns, orange, and yellow tones.
