Overview of the sites around Cannon Beach

Pictures 1-3  Short Beach which is 5 miles south of Cannon Beach. This is one beautiful cove!  You will find surfers all day here.

Pictures 4-5  Hug Beach. There are two coves each with humongous caves. This beach is about 1/2 mile north of Short Beach.  If you want to see the caves go during LOW TIDE!

Pictures 6-7 Views from the top of Ecola Park overlooking Cannon Beach with its sea stacks/haystacks.  The foreground on the left is Crescent Beach.

Pictures 8-9 Sea stacks called Bird Rocks.  I'm sure you can guess why it has this name!

Pictures 10-12 views from Crescent Beach Trail. This hike begins at the parking lot at Ecola and goes down 1 1/4 to the Crescent Beach.

Pictures 13-16 Crescent beach on a dreary late afternoon day!

Picture 17 View of the walk to Indian Beach-a very pretty beach with different sea/hay stacks. Also a common place to see surfers. this is more of a rocky pebble beach
