Cannon Beach: Now You See It & Now You Don't

There are two stories in this blog post. One is that while I was on an early morning walk at Cannon Beach the fog rolled in within minutes and covered the entire beach and the haystack. Take special notice of a "white rainbow" affect over the water.  Also note the water's sculpting of the sand as the tide moved out earlier that morning.   (For those unfamiliar with the Oregon coast, there is almost always a cloud bank at the horizon.)

The second story is watching a seagull find some food, walk up to it, check out if any other seagulls were around, and after a number of bites, be greeted by another hungry seagull.  I leave it to you to come up with the conversation the two hungry birds were having.
