Mt Rainier in the Fall

In the fall Mt Rainier's summer meadow flowers give way to bright orange, red, and yellow foliage.  It's as if G-d is sending us a burst of bright color as a last celebration or hurrah before the mountain is covered in many feet of white snow.  We had an extra bonus to see a mother bear with her two cubs foraging for food. Two forest rangers were keeping the bears and the people who were watching them a safe distance apart from each other-no easy feat as the bears were constantly on the move!

These photos were taken at Paradise. The clear sky photo was taken at about 12:30pm with my cell phone. All the other pictures were taken with a Fuji xt-3, 16-55mm lens at around 3:30 p.m.
